Doctors have a great opportunity to make a difference in many parts of the world where there is a need for Christ's healing. From a few months short-term placement, to a several-year commitment, Christian medical mission - overseas or even here in New Zealand! - is an excellent way to put your skills to work in service.
Medical Mission Vacancies
Servants Health Centre is Dunedin's only free healthcare clinic, and it depends on the faithful service of volunteer doctors, nurses, counsellors, receptionists and more. Providing free healthcare to those who are struggling financially and can't afford to see a GP or a nurse, the clinic cares for the homeless, unemployed, mentally ill and others who are at a vulnerable point in their life. The centre runs Bible studies weekly, gives away Bibles, prays with patients and shares the gospel.
There are always opportunities for more GPs to volunteer and join the team, whether that's for one 1/2 day per month, or more regularly.
